How Do I Place an Order?
Cakes, cupcakes, chocolates or other dessert orders can be placed by email or over the telephone. For small events we request a few days advanced notice for your order. Larger events and those with special detailing should order at least one to two weeks ahead of the event date. Wedding cakes can require longer planning and can be booked up to 6 months ahead.
Feel free to email Salyna with ideas of designs and styles, such as, photos of cakes or other inspirations that she can use to help design a unique cake for you. We will also ask for detailed contact information, event information, preferred pick-up or delivery times. For large events and weddings a $50 a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.
What Are Your Prices?
All of Salyna’s cakes are unique and customized to fit your needs, therefore, we do not have exact prices for cakes on this website.
9” birthday cakes are generally $45 - $50.
Cupcake minis start at $1.75, standard size $2.50, talls $3.25.
Sheet cakes (serve 50) cost $50-$65.
Wedding cakes are priced by the serving and start at $6.
Factors that add to the price include extra premium ingredients, intricate fondant decorations, chocolate work, hand painting, or other time consuming design elements, and delivery. Price estimates will be provided when a design is completed. Custom chocolates are priced by flavor, design and packaging. Please contact Salyna directly for options and pricing.
Payment
Salyna accepts cash or checks (payable to Salyna’s Specialty Cakes).
Small orders may be paid for in advance or when the item is picked up at the bakery. Large events and weddings are required to put a deposit of 50% the total balance at the time of order. The final balance will be due 2 weeks before the actual event date.
A refundable deposit of $50 is required for use of any cake stands or platforms. Please return these (or make other arrangements) within one week of your event. We do this to offer you free rental of our cake bases and this helps us get them back in good condition.
Delivery
Delivery is available in North Central Washington from Tonasket to Wenatchee area.
Minimum delivery change is $50. We do not ship cakes at this time.
Scheduling a Cake Tasting
Cake tastings are available for wedding cake clients or large events. There is no charge for a cake tasting, which includes up to three cake flavors. Please confirm your appointment with Salyna in advance and advise how many guests you will be bringing.
Sugar-free, Gluten-free, Dairy-free or Vegan cakes
Salyna offers cakes that are naturally sweetened, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. These types of cakes are limited in flavors so please inquire about available choices. While your cake may be ordered without certain ingredients, please be advised that all of our products are manufactured in a facility that processes wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts and other tree nuts.
